1. Dispatch Timeframes
We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
Please note:
- Dispatch time refers to when your order leaves our warehouse, not delivery time
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day
- Dispatch times may be extended during peak periods
2. Shipping Within Australia
We ship Australia-wide using trusted courier partners.
Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):
- Metro areas: 2–5 business days
- Regional areas: 3–7 business days
- Remote locations: Delivery times may vary
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by courier delays outside our control.
3. Free Shipping (Australian Retail Orders Only)
We offer FREE standard shipping on Australian retail orders over $189 AUD, excluding long, heavy, or bulky items.
Free shipping applies to:
- Personal, consumer purchases for individual use
Free shipping does NOT apply to:
- Wholesale orders
- Commercial, gym, club, school, or business purchases
- Bulk or palletised orders
- Long, heavy, or oversized items (e.g. punch bags, long training weapons or large mats)
Eligible retail orders will automatically receive free shipping at checkout where applicable.
4. Bulky & Heavy Freight (Australia Only)
Some items require specialised freight services due to their size or weight.
These items:
- May incur additional shipping charges
- May have longer delivery timeframes
- May require delivery to a commercial address
Bulky and heavy items are available for Australian domestic delivery only.
5. International Shipping
We offer international shipping on select standard-sized retail items only.
Bulky, oversized, or heavy items are NOT eligible for international shipping, including but not limited to:
- Filled boxing/heavy bags
- Large mats or flooring
- Oversized training equipment
If an international order is placed for a restricted item, we will contact you to arrange either:
- A modification to the order, or
- A refund for the affected item(s)
5.1 USA Shipping - DDP
For orders shipped to the United States, Shogun Martial Arts & Boxing Supplies is required to ship on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis.
This means applicable US import duties, tariffs, customs processing charges, brokerage fees and DDP handling costs may need to be paid before the order can be delivered.
Where required, these charges are calculated and added at checkout. This fee is designed to help cover estimated import-related costs so your order can be delivered without additional customs charges being requested at the door.
Please note that US import requirements and tariff rates may change, and any applicable fees will be shown at checkout before payment is completed.
If any additional fees or information are required after your order is placed, our team will contact you as soon as possible to help avoid delays with delivery.
6. Commercial, Wholesale & Bulk Orders
Orders placed for commercial, wholesale, or business purposes are not eligible for free shipping.
- Shipping costs are calculated based on size, weight, and destination
- Some orders may require palletised or tail-lift delivery
- Our team may contact you to confirm delivery details before dispatch
7. Click & Collect
We offer Click & Collect from our Jamistontown warehouse location.
- Orders are usually ready within 1–2 business days after confirmation
- You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup
- Valid photo ID and order confirmation are required
Please wait for your collection confirmation email before attending.
8. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with:
- Tracking details
- Courier information
Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear.
9. Authority to Leave (ATL)
For large, heavy, or bulky orders, Shogun Martial Arts authorises Authority to Leave (ATL) with the courier by default.
By placing an order that qualifies as a large item shipment, you acknowledge and accept that the parcel may be left at the delivery address without a signature, where the courier deems it safe to do so.
Once a parcel is marked as delivered by the courier under ATL, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer. Shogun Martial Arts is not liable for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery.
If you require delivery without Authority to Leave, you must contact us before dispatch to discuss alternative delivery arrangements. Additional charges may apply, and alternative options may not be available for all orders.
10. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery
Please ensure all delivery details are correct at checkout.
If an order is returned due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Failed delivery attempts
- Refusal of delivery
Additional return-to-sender and reshipping fees may apply.
11. Delays & Lost Parcels
While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, delays may occur due to:
- Courier network disruptions
- Weather events
- Peak shopping periods
If your order appears delayed or lost, please contact us and we will assist with a courier enquiry.
